There he spent much of his time devoted to helping teachers and staff in the local public schools with comprehensive wealth management and financial education. Mr. Morgan continues to serve this community today and has an extensive client base in the local schools of the Greater Rochester area.

Before Adam joined the financial services industry, he was a Production Supervisor at a local float glass manufacturer, Guardian Industries, in Geneva, NY. His passion for finance and serving others eventually led him to this industry, where he found AXA Advisors.

Mr. Morgan is a graduate of Alfred University, where he earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Cum Laude) and Business Administration (Cum Laude). Amanda joined Novem Group in September of 2008 as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, Robert Bartolotta. Over the years, she has supported financial advisors with their practices at Novem Group and has been involved in the firm’s overall operations and compliance. Amanda began supervising advisors in 2013 and led the compliance department as CCO from 2019 to 2024. She has since decided to focus on financial planning for local individuals and small business owners. It was a difficult decision to move on from the CCO position as that achievement was one that Amanda is very proud of. The migration to advising individuals originated from her strong dedication to help people and genuine ambition to make a difference in their financial success. With experience in both the customer service and fiduciary elements of financial planning, Amanda brings a fresh, well-educated perspective.

Andy has an extensive background in the financial planning industry as an advisor and a corporate executive. He began his career with American Express Financial Advisors in 1983, becoming an advisor before going into a leadership position as the Field Vice President in the Princeton, NJ office, where he supervised 75% of the advisors in the State of New Jersey.

In 1998, Andy joined Prudential Financial as Senior Vice President of Financial Planning, where he was responsible for the creation and implementation of a Fee-Based Financial Planning program across the United States. In 2000, he relocated to Atlanta, GA, as Senior Vice President of the Southern Territory, where under his leadership, he supervised 20% of the advisors in the United States.

In 2010, Andy decided to pursue his passion for working with clients again by assisting them in growing and protecting their wealth. In 2010, he started Ascend Wealth Management LLC and created the Financial Independence Maximizer ™, a comprehensive and holistic wealth management process. In 2013, his firm became one of nine independent firms that are members of the American Medical Associations Physicians Financial Partners Program.

He is an active member of various industry groups, including the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Society of Financial Services Professionals (SFSP), the Financial Planning Association (FPA). He is also a member of the prestigious Research Agency Group (RAGS) of the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association (LIMRA).

To better serve his Florida clients, Andy relocated the practice to Jupiter Florida in early 2018 and affiliated with Novem Group, a Registered Investment Advisor and American Portfolios as the broker-dealer in June of 2019.

Andy resides in Jupiter, Florida. He is the proud parent of three children, Andrew, a financial planning major who graduated from The University of Alabama and is a Financial Planner in Atlanta, Justin, a sports marketing graduate of The University of Alabama who now works in Corporate Relations for the Chicago Bears, and Jamie Nicole, a Graphic Design and Business major who graduated from Samford University and now works in the medical franchising industry in Birmingham, Alabama.

Her outstanding contributions earned her both the Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Achievement Medal for successfully bringing new capabilities to U.S. and allied forces.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from Boston University, an MBA from the University of Dayton, and the Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP®). Cathy has also completed executive education programs in product development, leadership, and management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Columbia Business School.

Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Cathy returned to her hometown after her military service to raise her two sons. She is an active community volunteer and enjoys gardening, kayaking, and reading, both at her home in Pittsford and at the Finger Lakes in upstate New York.

Kim joined Novem Benefits in August 2019 as an Administrative Assistant, but was quickly moved to the wealth management team at Novem Group to better utilize her analytical and organizational skills. Kim was promoted to manager of the CSA team two years later, in 2021.

Along with a background in Administration, Kim is also a Certified Personal Trainer. She attended the University of Calgary and received her Human Resource Management Certification before moving to the United States to join her husband, Jared. She enjoys volunteering and has been a part of the “Run for the Cure” since 2007.

Kim and her husband are happy to now call Rochester home. During her free time, Kim enjoys being active and spending time with her family.

Krissi joined Novem Group from Unisys Corporation and Burroughs Payment Systems in 2011. Originally the Customer Service Manager for Novem’s payroll and HRIS division (which has since been phased out), Krissi built and led the client-service and implementation teams for all payroll and human resource clients. In 2019, Krissi’s sales-support, vendor, and project-management experience became critical to managing the ongoing growth of Novem’s investment division, so she transferred focus to the wealth department and now utilizes her 20+ years of experience on behalf of multiple Financial Advisors as they build their investment practices, and for the expanding Group Retirement Services Department.

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Rosann attended Katharine Gibbs in Boston after high school. She worked at Xerox Corporation for many years and left to become a business owner of Airport Lanes. Upon the sale of her business, she decided to continue doing what she enjoys, maintaining relationships with clients and business associates.

Rosann’s responsibilities include office administration, client relations, and managing our annual charity golf tournament.

Tiffany began working for Novem Group as an Administrative Assistant in late December 2021 and was quickly promoted to Client Service Associate. Tiffany is a paralegal studies and pre-law student at Bryant & Stratton College. She worked as a Receptionist at Woods Oviatt Gilman LLC & Harris Beach PLLC for three years, performing administrative functions for each department’s practice as well as aiding clients.

Tiffany and her fiancé, along with their two German shepherds and cat, live on Hemlock Lake. Tiffany enjoys working out at the gym, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her animals and fiancé.

Tosin joined Novem Group with over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, and 15 years as a management consultant. She worked previously with IBM Global Business Services in the Financial Services practice as a Senior Change Management Consultant and Project Manager. Prior to that, she worked with Datek Online as a Customer Service Rep and an Accounts Principal, and held her Series 7, 63, 24, and 4 licenses.

Tosin holds an MBA in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Entertainment, Media & Technology from the NYU Stern School of Business. She was a Consortium for Graduate Studies in Management Fellow, and selected student representative for the Harlem Small Business Initiative and Clinton Foundation Partnership. Tosin also holds an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University.

Tosin serves on the board of directors of Providence Foundation, a microloans program supporting local widows in entrepreneurship in Africa. She is also the Secretary for the Mary Adetayo Okunuga Foundation, a non-profit organization that aids families in need in Africa. She is married with three daughters, and lives with her family in Georgia.

Andrew joined Novem Group in 2016 as a Financial Accountant. In 2023, he was promoted to Financial Controller. He is a graduate of St. John Fisher College with a B.S. in Accounting and M.B.A. in General Management. Andrew oversees the commissions process and assists with budgeting, accounting, and reporting for Novem Group. Previously, Andrew worked at Paychex, Inc. in their Corporate Accounts Receivable and Online Services Team, where he focused on process improvements and reported on the overall health of the department.

Andrew is a native of Penfield and currently lives there with his family.

Before joining the accounting department in 2023, Jessica spent 12 years running the internal operations of a local family-owned business, managing all facets of accounting, budgeting, and office management, and worked as a remittance specialist for a TPA, managing the remittal of 403b, and 457b retirement accounts. At Novem Group, Jessica assists with reporting, billing, and accounts payable and receivable.

Married to her high school sweetheart, Jessica has two lovely daughters, Quinn and Harper, and she enjoys hiking, traveling with her family, and spending summers at their cottage on Waneta Lake.

Megan has been with Novem Group since 2007. Starting out as the Executive Assistant to Robert Bartolotta, she was quickly promoted to Account Manager in 2008. Megan managed group insurance accounts until May 2013, when she changed her schedule to part-time after the birth of her son. For 7 years, Megan has provided administrative support to not only the employee benefits department, but also payroll, and retirement services. In 2021 her role shifted from administrative to operations by taking on the position of Compliance Associate. Having over a decade of experience with Novem Group, Megan has the versatility to help with specialized projects in all areas of the business.

Megan is a 2006 graduate of Canisius College with a BA in Communication Studies and Art History. She graduated Summa cum Laude and received several honors for her academic achievement, including those for Academic Excellence and Highest Honors/GPA in both Communication Studies and Art History. Megan lives in Pittsford with her husband, David, and their two children, Zachary and Gwyneth. She spends much of her spare time with friends and family at Honeoye Lake.
